The Acting and Sociology program at Liverpool Hope University is a unique dual degree program that combines the discipline of dramatic arts with the social sciences. Course Content: The Acting and Sociology program is delivered as two half degrees and involves the study of contemporary practice and theory of acting as well as exploring the social and cultural aspects inherent in creating and viewing drama. On the sociology front, the program encompasses the study of society, especially the structure of social groups, organizations, and social institutions. The curriculum nurtures and supports a comprehensive learning experience that encompasses practical, analytical and transferable skills.
