Course Content: The course is made up of two distinct elements: Drama and Theatre Studies and Study of a Single Genre – Musical Theatre. You'll learn about the historical development of theatre and performance, explore a variety of performance genres, and develop skills in critical analysis and research. Key Modules: There are three distinct strands to this programme, making the course much more than just a single ‘acting’ degree. These are Practical Creative Work, Theoretical Underpinning, and Professional Development. The Practical Creative Work strand will provide you with the opportunity to explore your individual talents through a wide range of performance practices. The Theoretical Underpinning strand aims to provide a solid foundation in the critical and analytical skills necessary for studying drama, theatre and performance.
