The Business Management and Food Nutritional Sciences BSc (Hons) is a combination degree offered by Liverpool Hope University. This course places significant emphasis not only on the theoretical studies in business management but also on the science and application of human nutrition. The course aims to allow students to develop key analytical skills, while providing a wide breadth of knowledge in both disciplines, preparing them for a range of careers.Course Content: The course is split into two sections; Business Management and Food Nutritional Sciences. The Business Management part of the degree will study issues, models and theories that are key to the understanding of business, while in the Food Nutritional Sciences aspect, you will study food in relation to growth, development, health, and disease, as well as the physiological processes that underpin these relationships.Key Modules: Some of the key modules covered in this course include Marketing Principles and Business Strategy, Economic Perspectives, Organic Chemistry, Anatomy, Physiology and Nutrition, Applied Nutrition, and Nutritional Assessment.Accreditations: The university is a member of AACSB International – The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
