The Business Management and Childhood & Youth studies course at Liverpool Hope University focuses on the social, personal, and academic development of young people within the backdrop of business management. The course gives an in-depth understanding on how to succeed in the business world while understanding the needs of our future generations and shaping a society that caters to these needs.Course Content: The course is split into two key parts – Business Management and Childhood & Youth. The Business component examines the essential components of business management such as marketing and human resources, while the Childhood & Youth component analyzes the social and biological aspects of youth development. The course is structured to ensure that students gain knowledge and understanding in both disciplines.Key Modules: Some of the fundamental modules include: Essential Skills for Academics, Introduction to Business, Exploring Childhood, and Introduction to Social Policy. In the final year, students will also undertake a work placement to put the theory they have learned into practice.Future Careers: Upon completion of this course, students will be well-equipped for a range of careers in business, education, social work, youth and community work, local government and the third sector.
