The Mathematics with Statistics MSci (Hons) is a four-year course offered by Lancaster University. The program seeks to provide students with a strong foundation in mathematics complemented by advanced abilities in statistical analysis.Course Content: The program begins with an assessment of students' existing knowledge and understanding in order to tailor their first year studies accordingly. Core modules cover subjects such as calculus, algebra, and probability among others. Over the next few years, students will be introduced to more advanced mathematical and statistical techniques. This will include modules in areas like operational research, linear algebra, continuum mechanics, and mathematical biology, among others.
