The Mathematics with Statistics Study Abroad MSci (Hons) course at Lancaster University provides students with a solid education in mathematical theory while incorporating statistics for broader applications. This course also offers the unique opportunity to study abroad at one of the university's many partner institutions worldwide. Course Content: The curriculum covers essential subjects, introducing students to the foundations of mathematics and statistics. Beginning with maths basics, proof and mathematical argument, statistics in practice, and probability, the program develops into more complex theory and statistics applications. During the third year, students get the opportunity to study abroad. Finally, they work on a project that lets them apply the acquired knowledge in their final year.Key Modules: Some of the key modules include Mathematics, Mathematical Methods, Probability for Statistics, Statistics in Practice, Real and Complex Analysis, Proof and Mathematical Argument, and Modern Regression Methods. Future Careers: After graduation, students have pursued careers in a wide range of sectors such as finance, computing, retail, education, government, and aeronautics. Some have gone on to further study in areas like statistics and machine learning. For more information on this course, please visit the official course page.
