MSci (Hons) Mathematics (Study Abroad)

The Mathematics (Study Abroad) MSci (Hons) offered by Lancaster University is a four-year integrated Masters course designed to deepen your understanding of mathematics. The course provides you with the opportunity to spend a year studying at one of the Lancaster's partner universities across the globe. It is designed for students with a keen interest in maths who want to enrich their course with international experience and exposure. Course Content: The course includes a broad range of mathematical subjects. In the first two years, you'll study core topics in pure and applied mathematics, and statistics to provide a solid foundation for later studies. In the third year, you will study at a partner university overseas where you’ll be able to learn mathematics in a new cultural context, broadening your learning experience and growing as an individual. In the fourth and final year, you will focus on advanced topics and conduct an individual project in an area of your choice under the supervision of a member of staff. Key Modules: The course covers modules such as - Algebra, Analysis, Geometry, Mechanics, Statistics, Probability, and Dynamical Systems.
