Meng Nuclear Engineering with Placement Year

The Nuclear Engineering with Placement Year MEng (Hons) is a four-year full-time undergraduate course offered by the Lancaster University. It is a specialist degree that provides students with a solid foundation in the raw physics and uses of energy, together with an understanding of reactor physics and nuclear systems.Course Content: This course begins with a solid grounding in general engineering principles, including mathematics, materials, thermal and fluid dynamics, control and systems. Students will then study specialist topics such as reactor physics, nuclear safety, heat transfer and fluid flow, reactor theory, control and safety.
