The Law with Placement Year LLB (Hons) M104 at Lancaster University is a unique program that combines intensive academic study with a comprehensive, year-long industry placement. This course enables you to gain practical experience and academic credit by spending a year exploring the roles, functions, and responsibilities of legal professionals, enhancing your future employability.Course Content: This is a four-year undergraduate course which focuses on providing a thorough understanding of the concepts, principles, and rules of law - specifically legal regulations throughout the UK. You'll have the option of studying various areas, such as contract law, criminal law, public law, and many others.Key Modules: During your course, you will study modules like Contract Law, Criminal Law, Public Law, Land Law, and EU Law. A broad variety of optional modules will allow you to specialize in areas like Employment, Medical Law, Human Rights, and Internet Law.Accreditations: The degree is a Qualifying Law Degree (QLD) which allows progression to the vocational stage of training to become a barrister or a solicitor.
