BSc (Hons) Software Engineering (Study Abroad)

The Software Engineering (Study Abroad) BSc Hons at Lancaster University is a full-time degree program that provides students with extensive knowledge and practical experience in all aspects of software and their development. The course includes a year to study abroad giving the students a global perspective of the field. It is designed to produce high-caliber software engineers who can thrive in an ever-changing digital landscape. Course Content: The course provides a clear understanding of computer systems and information processes, as well as the principles of software development, programming methodologies, and project management. The first year is designed to provide a solid foundation in software engineering, while the following years focus on specialized modules and include a year of study at an overseas university. Accreditations: This program is accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS), the Chartered Institute for IT, for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered IT Professional.
