The Pharmacology Study Abroad BSc Hons at Lancaster University is a uniquely designed programme that allows students to intensely study the field of pharmacology while also gaining international exposure. The course focuses on understanding the effects of drugs on the human body, with a specific emphasis on developing new medicines.Course Content: The course content spans over four years in total wherein the first year offers a solid foundation of knowledge on key biological principles, including cell biology, genetics, the biochemistry of complex living organisms, and the physiology of animals. In the second year, students develop their knowledge of Pharmacology and get an introduction to studies in the immune system and neuroscience.
