The Biochemistry MSci Hons course offered by Lancaster University is a four-year, full-time integrated Master's program. The course provides in-depth knowledge of the chemical concepts underlying biological systems. Students in this course will spend their third year studying abroad or doing industry placements and will focus on an individual research project in the fourth year.Course Content: The course begins with foundations in biochemistry, genetics, cell biology and other related disciplines. Over the course of the programme, advanced modules will provide insight into a variety of areas including protein structure and function, metabolic diseases and molecular genetics. In the third year, students can choose to study abroad or carry out placements in industries.
