Beng Electronic and Electrical Engineering (Study Abroad)

The Electronic and Electrical Engineering (Study Abroad) BEng (Hons) course at Lancaster University is an international offering that allows students to engage in a global experience while gaining the skills and knowledge vital for a career in the rapidly evolving electronics industry. This program combines theoretical study with practical experiments in state-of-the-art laboratories, and includes a year studying abroad at a partner institution where students can experience different cultures and academic environments.Course Content: The first two years of the course encompass a broad range of topics including digital and analog electronics, power engineering, telecommunications, hardware and software engineering, electromagnetic fields, mathematics and many more. For the final year, students can choose their preferred modules and tailor the course to their interests and career aspirations.Key Modules: Key modules offered throughout the course include Electrical Circuits and Electromagnetism, Electronic Devices, Introduction to Communication Systems, Introduction to Power Engineering, Digital Systems and Microprocessors, Group Design and Build Project, and many more.Accreditations: The course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer.Future Careers: This course prepares students for numerous roles within the electronics industry and beyond.
