The Geography (Study Abroad) BA Hons at Lancaster University is a four-year degree program with an integrated third year spent abroad. The course provides students with the opportunity to explore the major challenges the planet faces and discover how geography, as an integrated science, can build understanding of the Earth’s most pressing issues. Course Content: The course introduces students to a broad range of human and physical geography from the local to the global scale, studying modules on physical, human and environmental geography. The third year involves a full academic year abroad, after which students will return to Lancaster for their final year, to study optional modules and undertake a dissertation or applied geographical research.Key Modules: Some of the key modules include Glaciers and Glaciation, Environment and Culture, Geographical Skills, Geographies of Health and Wellbeing, Urban Economies, and Geographies of Production, among others.
