BA (Hons) English Literature and History (Study Abroad)

The English Literature and History (Study Abroad) BA (Hons) course offered by Lancaster University is a combination program that will expose students to English Literature and History in a global context. The course's integral part is devoted to studying abroad, where students will have the chance to understand global perspectives of their studies. Course Content: The content of this course includes different genres of writing, from Renaissance literature to modern-day novels, including works by Shakespeare, Austen, the Brontës, and others in between. With regards to History, it offers the study of the middle ages to the present, including British and global history. Key Modules: The course consists of several key modules including Literary History and Theory, Shakespeare, From Medieval to Modern: 1300-1700, Construction of the USA, Conflict and Memory in Twentieth Century Europe and many more modules in English Literature and History.
