BA (Hons) Chinese Studies and Film

The Chinese Studies and Film BA Hons course offered by Lancaster University provides students with a comprehensive education in both of these unique disciplines. The integrated program allows students to develop an in-depth understanding of China's modern history, culture, economy, and politics, while exploring the world of film and creative practices, theories, and contexts. Course Content: In the first year, the curriculum provides a solid base in the study of China's history and film. In the second and fourth year, students deepen their understanding and knowledge in the selected subjects. A highlight of this course is the third year where the students study abroad in a Chinese-speaking country or work on a placement, immersing themselves in the language and culture.
