The MA Landscape Architecture course offered by The University for the Creative Arts is designed to engage with the complex challenges and opportunities of contemporary landscapes through design, theory, and practice. The course investigates landscape architectures from a multidisciplinary perspective, including subjects like ecology, horticulture, social science and digital fabrication. Course Content: The course adopts a project-based learning approach which allows students to explore and challenge the areas of urbanism, public realm, sustainable communities, and infrastructure schemes amongst others. Content areas also include theory and history of landscape, techniques of representation, research methods, sustainability, material practice, and ecological studies.Key Modules: Some of the key modules in the course include: Landscape Architecture: Media & Techniques, Landscape and Urban Theory, Landscape Architecture: Project Design & Development, Landscape Research Focus, and Landscape Architecture Major Project.Accreditations: This course is fully accredited by the Landscape Institute and recognized by the International Federation of Landscape Architects.
