MA Curating

The MA Curating course offered by the University for the Creative Arts is designed for students who aspire to lead in the fields of curating and exhibition design. This course inspires creativity and innovation, enabling students to navigate and realise both traditional and experimental curatorial possibilities within the context of the gallery, museum, or public space. Course Content: The course syllabus covers key aspects of curatorial practice, equipping students with a wide-ranging understanding from historical, theoretical, and cultural perspectives. It encourages students of the course to explore diverse ways of interpreting and presenting art and design. The part-time course involves an intense learning process, which spans two years into six stages. Key Modules: The program consists of key modules such as Curating Theory and Practice, Exhibition Production, The Conditions of Curating, and Independent Research Project. Future Careers: By successfully completing this course, students can aspire to work as freelance curators, exhibition organisers, or gallerists.
