The BSc Industrial Design at UCA is a three-year full-time course that allows students to learn, create, and innovate products with a focus on sustainability and the power of good design. They will engage with live briefs, industry experts, and cutting-edge technologies. Course Content: The course provides a hands-on approach to creative problem-solving through design projects. Students will gain hands-on experience in product manufacturing, 3D design, Model making and the use of industry-standard CAD tools. They will also learn about important market factors such as economic viability, infrastructure and sustainability.Key Modules: Key modules in this course include Digital Technologies and Fabrication, Global Design History, Concept Generation, and Commercial Manufacturing. The course also includes an overseas study trip that increases students' cultural awareness and develops their global perspective of design. Accreditations: This program is accredited by the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED). Future Careers: Graduates can explore rewarding career opportunities as an Industrial Designer, Product Designer, CAD Designer, Design Engineer, or Usability/UX Analyst.
