The BA Fashion Design course, offered by the University for the Creative Arts, provides a well-rounded education in the art and business of fashion. This program is designed to stimulate your creative thinking and encourage you to challenge tradition.Course Content: Throughout the course, learners will broaden their understanding of contemporary fashion design whilst exploring the latest innovations in sustainability and ethical fashion. The program covers areas from contour fashion and print making to computer-aided design, and engages students in a variety of design development practices and concepts.Key Modules: This course provides several key and compulsory modules including 'Critical & Cultural Studies,' 'Introduction to Fashion Design,' 'Design & Colour,' 'Fashion & Sustainability,' 'Fashion & Identity,' and 'Contour Fashion & Integrated Practices.'Future Careers: Upon completion of the course, students will have the ability to work in a variety of roles, including an independent fashion designer, retail buyer, stylist, visual merchandiser, costume designer, fashion illustrator or even a clothing/ textile technologist.
