The Applied Public Health MSc program offered by Cardiff Metropolitan University is designed to develop students' understanding of the effect of societal, economic, and environmental changes on public health. It also offers research training knowledge and transferable skills, highlighting the integration and translation of public health research into routine practice and policy. Course Content: The core courses of the program cover a wide breadth of public health areas. These include but are not limited to: Principles & Practice of Public Health, Health Impact Assessment, Public Health Intelligence, Policy & Public Health, Research Methods, Health Protection, and Lifestyle Determinants of Health.Key Modules: This program includes five compulsory modules: Principles and Practice of Public Health, Research Methods, Health Impact Assessment, Policy, and Public Health, as well as the Dissertation module.
