The LLB Law (Hons) at Cardiff Metropolitan University is a three-year full-time course where you’ll learn all the skills needed to be successful in today's legal profession. The course goes beyond a purely theoretical understanding of the law, focusing on the legal skills that employers are currently looking for. Course Content: The programme modules provide a well-rounded understanding of legal systems, principles, and practices. The students participate in Mooting (legal debates) and will be encouraged to engage with legal work experience. Other activities such as student law societies and pro bono work are available to further enhance the practical skills. Key Modules: Throughout the course, topics covered will range from the Legal Skills and Legal Foundations in the first year, to Law of Obligation and Professional Practice in the second year, and finally Capstone Project or Work Placement in the third year. Accreditations: The LLB Law (Hons) is a Qualifying Law Degree recognized by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Bar Standards Board.
