The Social Science Research Methods (Social Policy) MSc program at Cardiff University nurtils research expertise in social policy. The course equips students with an in-depth understanding of policy issues combined with rigorous research methods training. It provides a deep understanding of both quantitative and qualitative research designs and applies them to the area of social policy.Course Content: The course includes a modular structure with key components such as Philosophy of Social Science Research; Qualitative Research Methods in Social Science; Quantitative Research Methods in Social Science; and Dissertation (MSc).
