LLM Law

The Law LLM programme at Cardiff University is a postgraduate course that offers comprehensive training in law, enabling students to develop in-depth and specialist knowledge about a range of legal subjects important in addressing contemporary local and global issues. Across the year, students will learn to use the rigorous and critical analytical tools of legal studies and apply them to a broad range of contexts and issues.Course Content: The Law LLM programme consists of two stages: Stage 1 is the taught stage which lasts for nine months and requires completing a series of compulsory modules. In Stage 2, which spans over 3 months, students undertake a dissertation project on a topic related to law. Key Modules: The key modules in the programme include Foundations in Legal Research, Legal Foundations, and a dissertation.
