The Child Nursing September Intake BN course at Cardiff University is a three-year full-time programme that gears students to become competent child nurses. This course is designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge, fundamental skills, and professional values that embody the practice of a children's nurse.Course Content: The course is composed of 360 credits. The first year includes module titled 'foundations for practice' that covers biological, social, and developmental aspects of health. The second year builds on the knowledge gained in the first year, emphasising the link between pathophysiology and nursing interventions in the care of children and young people.
