The BA (Hons) in Journalism, Media and English Literature is a full-time degree program offered by Cardiff University. Across three years of studies, students will examine pivotal texts and forms to gain an insight into various thematic and contextual issues across both literary history and the media environment. Course Content: In year one, students will study core topics introducing them to both journalism and literature. From the second year onwards, modules become more specialized, dealing with different periods of English Literature, from the Renaissance to the present, alongside professional themes in journalism and the cultural and creative industries. Key Modules: Some of the exciting modules include Introduction to Journalism Studies, Understanding Journalism Studies, Introduction to English Literature, Studying English Literature, Professional Writing and Research Techniques, Critical Reading, Interactive and Data Journalism, Arts Reviewing, Literary Theory, and Cinema history and research.
