The Italian and Politics BA is a joint three-year undergraduate degree offered by Cardiff University. This course gives students the opportunity to develop language skills in Italian and combine it with an understanding of political theory, challenges, and practices in the contemporary world. Course Content: The course is divided into two parts, with 50% dedicated to Italian studies and 50% to Politics. Italian studies teach the language, culture, history, and society of Italy from the Middle Ages to the present day, while politics includes the study of concepts, theories and the detailed workings of political institutions. Key Modules: Some key modules include Global Governance and International Institutions, Politics and Governance in the EU, The Making of Modern Italy, and Renaissance and Transformation: A literary Journey through Italian Cultures.Accreditations: The course is recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research (MIUR).
