The BA Italian is a flexible course that offers a comprehensive approach to the study of Italian language and culture. According to your interests, you can choose to focus on contemporary or historical aspects of Italian society, or on the Italian language. You will also have access to learn from researchers who are leaders in their fields and the opportunity to spend your third year studying or working in Italy.Course Content: During your first year, you will study 120 credits of core and optional modules, which are designed to give you a solid grounding in language and culture, from which you can then build in subsequent years. Your Third year will be spent in an Italian-speaking country either studying, teaching English or on a work placement.
