March Architecture 

The MArch Architecture course, offered by the University of Portsmouth, is a two-year full-time program recognized by the ARB/RIBA for Part 2 placement. This postgraduate course enables students to utilize the knowledge and skills they have gained during undergraduate studies to a higher and more advanced level through comprehensive research, critical analysis, and experimental projects.Course Content: The course includes modules for students to delve deeply into architectural studies, focusing on essential aspects such as architectural design and studios, environment and technology, historical and theoretical studies, and a design thesis project. The programme allows students to personalize and specialize in their own area of interest.Key Modules: Some of the key modules include Architectural Design: Exploration, Architectural Design: Concept, Environmental Issues, Construction, Architectural Design Thesis, and Industry Research and Thesis Preparation. Accreditations: The MArch Architecture course is jointly recognized and validated by the Architect’s Registration Board (ARB) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). This recognition signifies that the course fulfills the standards set by these organizations, also making it a Part 2 qualification for ARB/RIBA.Future Careers: The course equips students with a variety of skills for potential roles in architecture, space design, the construction industry, project management, research, journalism, and marketing.
