MA Fashion and Textiles 

The MA Fashion and Textiles at the University of Portsmouth is a flexible, innovative program designed to inspire creative minds with a keen interest in fashion and textiles. This course will enable you to develop your personal creative vision, with hands-on projects and theoretical knowledge. Course Content: The program is research-led and focuses on individual student-centred learning. You'll apply your knowledge and understanding through a series of project-based modules, allowing you to develop your academic and professional skills, and your ability to manage complex creative projects. Key Modules: Modules include Research Methods and Proposal, Reflective Practice, Professional Practice Discussion and Review, Major Project Realisation: Fashion and Textiles, Contextual Review.Accreditations: This course is accredited by the Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) for entry onto this course. Applicants who wish to offer prior experiential learning for consideration will be considered on an individual basis by course leaders.Future Careers: Your skills and knowledge will prepare you for roles in the fashion, textiles or even wider creative industries as trend predictors, freelance designers, brand managers, fashion buyers or merchandise managers.
