BEng (Hons) Electronic Engineering 

The BEng (Hons) and MEng (Hons) Electronic Engineering undergraduate course offered by the University of Portsmouth blends practical learning with theory to provide students with the skills and knowledge to design, develop and manage electronic systems. Students also have the opportunity to work and study abroad for a year.Course Content: The course covers essential principles and techniques including digital and analogue engineering, computer programming, signal processing, and control engineering. An emphasis on real-world applications and practical workshop skills are integrated into the course. Students will also work on group and individual projects, allowing them to apply the theoretical concepts they've learnt.Key Modules: Some of the key modules in this course include Electrical and Electronic Principles, Digital and Analogue Electronics, Signal Analysis and Control, Individual Project, and Group Design Project.Accreditations: The course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer and partly meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.Future Careers: This degree course provides students with skills that are in high demand in industries such as telecommunications, robotics, broadcast engineering, and hardware development.
