BA (Hons) Creative Computing 

The BA/BSc (Hons) Creative Computing course, offered by the University of Portsmouth, combines the digital world with creative skills. This course enables students to design, develop, and refine the cyber-physical interactions between humans and computers. It is devised to get students thinking conceptually about how people interact with computers and digital systems, along with how to improve those interactions.Key Modules: Each year students will study different modules, including Cybercultures, Introductory Programming, Creative Technologies Overview for first year; Design for Digital Media, Emerging Technology Practice, Future Interfaces for second year; and the Final year project. Optional modules include Spatial Computing, Internet of Things, Ubiquitous Computing among others.Accreditations: This course is accredited by the British Computer Society (BCS) – The Chartered Institute for IT – for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered IT Professional (CITP).Future Careers: After successful completion of this course, students may pursue roles such as Web Designer, App Developer, UX Designer, or Interaction Designer.
