BSc Chemistry

The BSc (Honors) Chemistry course offered by Queen's University Belfast provides a comprehensive understanding of the principles of chemistry. The three-year full-time program features a mix of lectures, practical lab work, fieldwork, group work, and independent study. This course gives students the opportunity to learn from world-renowned academics and conduct research in state-of-the-art facilities.Course Content: The chemistry course offers students a detailed study of physical chemistry, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry and analytical chemistry. Term one includes foundational chemistry, mathematical methods, and key skills in chemistry. In term two and three, students will learn about molecular structures, analysis and reactions, quantitative and solid-state chemistry, synthesis and aromatic chemistry.
