BA Music and Sound Design

The BA Music and Sound Design course offered by Queen's University Belfast is a three-year full-time undergraduate course. This course aims to nurture and develop the creative, technical and theoretical skills required to pursue a career in music and audio-related industries. Packed with rich content and modules, students are able to get hands-on experience with cutting-edge technology.Course Content: The course contains diverse contents for the students to help in shaping their creative identity. Besides studying the fundamental areas of music, students will explore the possibilities and impact of sound design across a range of contexts—from film to video games. Practical modules in the programme focus on applying creative and technical skills to produce professional audio project work.Key Modules: The key modules for this course are Composition, Music and Sound Design, Music Theory and Analysis, Music Performance, and Popular Music Studies.
