The Irish Politics BA at Queen's University Belfast is a full-time course that provides students with a broad understanding of Irish politics in the North and South of the island, the place of Ireland in European and global politics, and the long, complex route to peace and reconciliation. The focus of the course is on developing students' knowledge and understanding, cultivating research and communication skills, offering optional work-related courses, and enhancing employability skills.Course Content: Across three years of study, the program comprises six stages, each made up of 120 credit points. The first year provides introductions to Irish Politics and International Relations, as well as a range of other subject areas. In the second year, students will study compulsory and optional modules related to politics and international studies like Public Administration, Theories of International Relations, and Northern Ireland: A Case Study.
