The History & International Relations BA (LV21) course at Queen's University Belfast allows students to explore the relationships between historical phenomena and contemporary international issues. It combines the study of history with the study of international relations to enhance understanding of the modern world, with an emphasis on broader historical contexts.Course Content: This programme offers a broad range of modules that blend both History and International Relations. These cover a variety of time periods and geographical areas, as well as key themes such as diplomacy, security, international conflict, and political economy. The material is covered over three stages, each year increasing in depth and critical analysis. Key Modules: Some key modules include: From the Fall of Rome to the Middle Ages, International Politics, Marketing Politics, and International Intervention in Ethnic Conflict. Level 2 includes History and Historians, Power and Propaganda in Modern Societies, and World Politics.
