BA Archaeology-Palaeoecology & Geography

The Archaeology/Palaeoecology & Geography BSc degree at Queen's University Belfast combines two complementary subjects that provide a unique understanding of our human species within the natural world. Students will learn about the human past, the evolution of human cultures, and the impact of past environments on modern societies. Course Content: The program is delivered through lectures, practical classes, field trips, and self-directed study. During this three-year course, students will receive instruction in human prehistory, historical archaeology, palaeoecology, physical geography, and more. These subjects will give students an understanding of humans and their environments from the Earth's early history to the present day.Key Modules: Key modules for this course include Earth's Dynamic Systems, Our Changing World and You, Human Geography, Contemporary Archaeology, Practical Ecology, and Palaeoecology.Future Careers: Graduates of this program have found success in a wide variety of roles.
