The MSci Applied Psychology (Clinical) is an integrated undergraduate and postgraduate course offered by the University of Reading. This course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to work in clinical psychology and related fields. The therapeutic training included in the course is a distinctive feature at the undergraduate level. Course Content: This comprehensive five-year course integrates undergraduate and postgraduate study into a single programme, enabling students to gain a master’s degree with advanced clinical training. Students will spend three years studying a BSc in Psychology that is accredited by the British Psychological Society. In the final two years, they will move onto the MSci, involving therapeutic training typically not available at undergraduate level.Key Modules: A wide variety of modules is offered throughout the course, focusing on areas such as core areas of Psychology, neurodevelopmental disorders, cognitive behavioural therapy, and interpersonal psychotherapy for adolescents.
