MSc Physician Associate

The MSc Physician Associate course at the University of Reading is a two-year full-time programme incorporating theoretical teaching and practical clinical placements to equip students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to function as a Physician Associate. The course comprehensively covers the competencies and curriculum as set out by the Royal College of Physicians Faculty of Physician Associates with a view to producing professionals who can examine, diagnose and manage patients competently in a variety of healthcare settings.Course Content: The course is divided into two parts with the first half focusing on theoretical knowledge taught through a series of lectures, practical and clinical skills classes, individual and group work, case-based learning, and medical simulation.
