The MRes Law at the University of Reading enables students to conduct independent research and develop high-level skills in critical analysis. This course provides the opportunity to be trained in diverse research methods and approaches to legal study. It is ideal for those seeking to advance their professional skills, as well as those aiming for an academic career in law. Course Content: The MRes in Law course incorporates a structured programme of interdisciplinary training in legal research methods and skills within the first term, including both qualitative and quantitative approaches. This is followed by two advanced level substantive modules in law.
