MA Archaeology

The practical elements of course range from site survey and excavation to lab-based artefact analysis, and geoarchaeological and biodiversity methods.Key Modules: The core modules of this course include Archaeological Principles, Professional and Academic Skills in Archaeology, and either Presenting the Past: Museums and Heritage, or Project Management in Archaeology. Optional modules include Field Methods in Archaeology, Archaeology of Human Remains, Bioarchaeology, Environmental Archaeology, and Artefact Studies.Accreditations: The University of Reading is accredited by the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA), demonstrating the institution's commitment to providing quality education in archaeology.Future Careers: After completing the MA in Archaeology, graduates can move on to a variety of career paths.
