The BSc Business Economics with a placement year programme at the University of Reading is designed to provide students with a solid understanding of the world of business and economics. Students will participate in economic investigations, use economic models and principles to solve problems, and examine how economics informs business strategy development.Course Content: The four-year, full-time course is divided into three parts. Each part corresponds to a academic year of full-time study. Part one provides the foundational knowledge, part two explores some more advanced areas in greater depth, part three gives the students time in work placements and finally part four allows students to choose from a wide range of options and tailor their degree according to their interests.
