The BSc Biomedical Sciences with Professional Experience at the University of Reading is a comprehensive course that offers students a thorough understanding of the human body at the molecular, cellular and systems levels. This course also provides a placement year, to develop professional skills in a working environment. Course Content: The course covers basic biology in the first year, before enabling students to specialise in more advanced topics such as medical genetics, medical microbiology, neuroscience, toxicology, cancer biology, and cardio-respiratory and renal physiology in subsequent years.
