BA Art and Theatre

The BA Art and Theatre course offered by the University of Reading is designed for students who are passionate about both art and theatre. The interdisciplinary programme allows you to explore the link between these two creative forms, developing a broad range of skills and abilities to conceive and implement creative projects.Course Content: The course combines the study of Theatre with the theory and practice of Art. The first year provides an essential foundation in both subjects. In the following two years, students have the option to combine modules from each programme, or they could choose to specialise more in one subject.Key Modules: Some key modules include Contemporary Art and Architecture, Theatre and Globalisation, The Body in Performance, Revolutionary Theatre, Performance Composition, and The Art Of Listening.Future Careers: After graduation, students may pursue careers in various fields like performance and theatre-making, gallery and museum management, arts administration, or teaching.
