MSc Biomedical Engineering with Biomaterials & Tissue Engineering

The Biomedical Engineering with Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering MSc at Queen Mary University of London is a full-time or part-time on-campus course. It is a flexible, modular master's degree that is designed to train students in advanced biomedical sciences. The course incorporates both traditional and pioneering aspects of biomaterial and tissue engineering. Course Content: Students will study aspects of biomaterials engineering including tissue engineering, rehabilitation engineering, and biomechanics. It also includes project work. A wide variety of teaching and learning approaches are used in the modules, encourage students to develop a wide range of practical and theoretical skills and knowledge.Key Modules: Key modules include: Mathematical and Numerical Methods, Materials Engineering, Biomechanics, Design and Manufacture, and Biomedical Engineering. In the latter stages of the course, students will undertake a major individual research project.Accreditations: This program is accredited by the Institute of Materials, Minerals, and Mining (IoM3), on behalf of the Engineering Council, for the purposes of meeting the educational requirements for Further Learning for registration as a Chartered Engineer.Future Careers: Graduates of this course can find work in the NHS, health charities, clinical trial companies, and medical research.
