<div style="font-family: Urbanist; font-size: 16px;">The History MA at Queen Mary University of London is a flexible program that allows students to deepen their understanding of the past, enhance their research skills, and explore an area of interest through a self-designed dissertation project. By engaging with cutting-edge research, public history debates, and comparative and transnational perspectives on history, students are well-prepared for a variety of professions requiring high-level skills in research, analysis, and communication. Course Content: Throughout the course, students explore the key debates, trends and methods in the field of history. They also learn how to design, research, and write a masterful dissertation. The course is divided into three components: compulsory modules, option modules, and a dissertation. Key Modules: The compulsory modules include Historical Research Skills and Public History. There is a wide range of elective modules, allowing students to tailor their studies according to their interests and goals. Examples of elective modules include East London History Walk, Hollywood and History, and British National Identity in Post-war Popular Culture. Future Careers: Graduates of the History MA have found employment in a variety of sectors including education, research, the heritage industry, the civil service, the charitable sector, and in marketing and communications. Queen Mary University of London is delighted to&nbsp;offer&nbsp;Global Talent Scholarships&nbsp;worth &pound;5,000 for high&nbsp;achieving&nbsp;postgraduate taught offer holders joining us in September 2025/26. The Scholarship is available to all international students&nbsp;domiciled in one of the countries listed above&nbsp;with an offer for an eligible programme*, who meet the following criteria:&nbsp;

 Once&nbsp;you&rsquo;ve&nbsp;applied for a&nbsp;Masters&nbsp;programme&nbsp;at Queen Mary and received an offer,&nbsp;you&rsquo;ll&nbsp;need to complete the online scholarship application form. Conditional offer holders who are on course to achieve a 2:1 (or overseas equivalent)&nbsp;are&nbsp;welcome to apply.&nbsp;
Applicants should apply for a scholarship as soon as possible after receiving an offer for a postgraduate course, as scholarships will be allocated on a rolling basis. Applications will close once all scholarships have been awarded.
The scholarship will be deducted from a recipient&rsquo;s tuition fees when they enrol at Queen Mary.&nbsp;

Queen Mary University of London is proud to introduce the&nbsp;President&rsquo;s Global Scholarships, offering&nbsp;&pound;10,000&nbsp;to highly qualified postgraduate taught offer holders joining us in September 2025.

<h3>Eligibility Criteria</h3>
All international students with an offer for an eligible programme* can apply if they meet the following requirements:

<li style="font-size: 14pt;">Achieve, or are on course to achieve, a UK 1st Class Honours degree (or international equivalent)</li>
<li style="font-size: 14pt;">Hold an offer for an eligible postgraduate taught programme for the September 2025 intake</li>

<h3>How to Apply</h3>
Once you have applied for a Master&rsquo;s programme at Queen Mary and received an offer, you must complete the online President&rsquo;s Global Scholarships application form. Conditional offer holders who are on track to achieve a 1st class degree (or equivalent) are welcome to apply.
Applicants should apply for a President's scholarship as soon as possible after receiving an offer for a postgraduate course, as scholarships will be allocated on a rolling basis. Applications will close once all scholarships have been awarded.
