The Biomedical Engineering BEng programme at Queen Mary University of London is a three year full-time course that emphasizes the application of engineering principles and techniques to the medical field. This course combines traditional engineering expertise with the understanding of biological processes on various levels to provide an enhanced education in the design and manufacture of biomaterials, artificial organs, and medical imaging systems.Course Content: The Biomedical Engineering BEng programme is designed to provide an understanding of the body as a mechanical structure, the nature of biomaterials and their role in implant design, the physiological function of the body, and the incorporation of microcomputer technology in the design and analysis of biomedical systems.
