The Film Studies and Russian course at the Queen Mary University of London is a unique interdisciplinary programme that allows students to study the cinematic arts alongside the Russian language, culture, and history. This three-year full-time or four-year part-time course will provide students with the critical skills required to interpret Russian literature, society, and politics and analyse global film theory and history.Course Content: The course explores the history and theory of film in worldwide contexts, periods, and genres, with particular focus on the American, British, European, and Russian cinema. In addition, the Russian studies portion of the course focuses on learning the Russian language while studying Russian historical and contemporary culture.
