The Midwifery course at the University of the West of Scotland is a 20-month, full-time, postgraduate study program designed for registered adult nurses who want to pursue a career in this field. This course, offered at the Paisley campus, focuses on the role of a midwife in supporting, advising and educating women during pregnancy, labour and the period after childbirth.Course Content: The curriculum is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide holistic, woman-centered care.
