The Sport Coaching and Development course offered at the University of the West of Scotland (UWS) is designed to provide students with the essential theoretical and practical skills required to progress in a career in sports coaching and development. This BA (Hons) degree course offers students the opportunity to engage with a variety of approaches to understanding sport and insights into the role of the coach, alongside contexts in which coaching occurs.
